Dr. Mehwish Hanif, MD, CCFP
Dr. Mehwish Hanif is a board certified Family Physician with specialization in Aesthetic Medicine. She also has a special interest in preventative medicine, women’s health, and physical and mental wellness. With a holistic approach to treating her patients, she focuses on rejuvenating their health and natural beauty, inspiring them to look and feel their very best, and to stay beautiful both inside and out.
She graduated from the University of Calgary Medical School in 2016, and stayed in Calgary to complete her Family Medicine residency training. She is certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada and is also a recipient of the CFPC Medical Student Leadership Award. She has further specialized in Aesthetic Medicine, and performs numerous injectable treatments, including dermal fillers, platelet rich plasma therapy for skin rejuvenation and hair loss, and Botox for wrinkle prevention and reduction, as well as for chronic migraine headaches, TMJ disorders, and hyperhidrosis. She has undertaken extensive training in non-invasive aesthetic and laser procedures through various national and international experts, and has earned her Canadian Board Certification in Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Hanif has a strong passion for quality and safety in aesthetic procedures and focuses on techniques that create more natural looking results.
As a medical expert in the field of Women’s Health, Dr. Hanif sees patients for several women’s health concerns. She is proficient in contraception counselling, IUD insertion and removal, endometrial biopsy, prenatal and postpartum care, newborn care, gynecological screening, PAP, and STI screening. She also plays an active role in the mental health program at the Chinook Mall Medical Clinic, and counsels patients to help them manage their symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and other mental health concerns.
Dr. Hanif has a comprehensive approach to patient care, and loves to help patients overcome various medical and psychological challenges. She also enjoys teaching, and is a clinical lecturer with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary. She continues to pursue ongoing medical education to bring exceptional medical expertise and cosmetic care that her patients deserve. Outside of medicine, she loves travelling and working out.

Dr. Deborah Obu is a fully licensed Canadian medical practitioner who has practised in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
She completed her Medical education in Nigeria before relocating to Dublin, Ireland where she obtained training in Family and Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Obu has a postgraduate degree in Clinical Dermatology and has been practicing as a Cosmetic Dermatologist since 2016.
She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Calgary School of Medicine.

Dr. Safi Saeed, MD, LMCC, ECFMG, CCFP
Dr. Saeed graduated from Ibn Sina University, in Khartoum, Sudan. Dr. Saeed is a board certified Family Physician. He worked in rural B.C communities for 4 years, and he moved to Calgary in 2020, Safi fell in love with the beauty of the city and its eclectic people.
When he isn’t working he enjoys doing home renovations, photography, singing, hiking, volunteering, playing soccer and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Hiba Rabei, MD , MSc, CCFP.
"Dr. Rabei brings a world of medical experience to Chinook Mall Medical Clinic. With a medical degree from the UAE and a Master’s of Science in molecular medicine from Paris, she cultivated her skills across continents. Her passion for healthcare led her to Canada, where she completed a residency program in family medicine at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Rabei's curiosity extends beyond medicine. She finds delight in traversing new destinations and savoring the world's flavors, connecting diverse cultures through culinary experiences and art.
Family lies at the core of Dr. Rabei's life. As a mother herself, she deeply understands the significance of family bonds and extends this understanding to the care she provides, fostering a nurturing environment for all.

Dr. TaeEun Ahn, MD, CCFP
Dr. TaeEun Ahn completed her Bachelor's and Master of Science at the University of Western Ontario. She studied neurobiology in a lab where the primary focus included reproduction, sexuality, addictions/award pathway (these neural pathways are closely associated and fascinating!). Although she had a small part in the research lab as a Master's student, her exposure and experience led to continuous interest in human psychology, addictions, and mental health. She volunteered at a cultural psychology lab at the University of Alberta prior to starting her medical degree and after medical school, she completed a family medicine residency at the University of Calgary. Since then, she has been splitting her time practicing medicine both in Calgary and rural Alberta where she covers acute care, emergency, and outpatient clinics. Her special interest includes sexual health (PrEP certified) and group therapy for mental health. She is experienced in:

Dr. Amina Wahbi is a board certified Family Physician . She graduated from Ibn Sina University, Sudan. She enjoyed working rural British Columbia before moving to Calgary
She works with passion to deliver the best care she can to her patients. She enjoys practicing comprehensive primary care and has special interest in Nutrition and Mental Health.

Dr. Magdalene Leung, MD, CCFP
Dr. Magdalene Leung is a proud native Calgarian. Academically, she received both her Bachelors and Masters of Science at the University of Calgary. She completed her medical school at Queens University in Ontario and her residency training in family medicine at the University of Calgary.
She believes that everyone is resilient, resourceful and capable of making and sustaining change. Her psychotherapy framework are grounded on a holistic model that focuses on four domains: biological; psychological; social and spiritual. One achieves wellness when being attuned to these four domains. She has used strategies including: motivational interviewing; cognitive behavioral therapy skills (CBT); dialectical behavioral therapy skills (DBT) and interpersonal therapy skills to help patients deal with mental health challenges such as: day-to-day stressors, depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, loss of a loved one and addiction. She feels very privileged to have the opportunity to work at Chinook Medical Center and to help local Calgarians.
